Biography:
Adrian Beney, Director, Iain More Associates, was a fundraiser at the University of Durham for more than 20 years, establishing programmes in Alumni Relations, Regular Giving, Prospect Research and Major Gifts. With Iain More Associates, he has carried out strategy development, campaign feasibility studies, management and volunteer training, donor development work and interim management. Clients include the National Library of Scotland and the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, Universities including Cambridge, Edinburgh, St Andrew’s, Queen’s Belfast and Middlesex. He has just started a project with the Institute of Physics.
He was the first non-North American recipient of CASE’s Crystal Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching, and recently led a review of training requirements in UK Higher Education fundraising for presentation to the Board of Universities UK.
